Along with over 80 works of fine art, Pridham's Auctions & Appraisals is pleased to include a selection of fine inventory items from one of Canada's most highly esteemed antique shops - DONOHUE & BOUSQUET, who after 50 years of continuous business in Ottawa as silver specialists and long-time members of the Canadian Antique Dealers Association (CADA), are closing their doors. Since 1971, Donohue & Bousquet have been dealing in fine 17th-20th century silver & accessories, and count among their lengthy list of notable clients several Prime Ministers of Canada, high ranking Members of Parliament, Supreme Court Justices, Foreign Service Ambassadors, as well as a host of prominent and historically significant Ottawa families. Other inclusions will be19th and 20th century bronzes, a monumental Royal Vienna porcelain vase, Loetz, Lalique, Tiffany, Fabergé, a good selection of Asian porcelains and paintings. Fine furniture will include a fine Canadian Eastern Seaboard mahogany sideboard, an Egyptian Revival bookcase, fine mid century modern.
